Bills In Equity Of 1919 & 1920

A. THE BILL IN EQUITY OF 1919

1. The Trustees Bill in Equity against the Directors of the Mother Church listed three Trustees of the Christian Science Publishing Society and -- initially -- four Directors of under the 1892 Deed of Trust, and a fifth was added in the preamble. WRONG.

2. The Directors under the 1892 Deed had nothing to do with the Publishing Society.


3. The Bill in Equity of 1919 claimed that the 1903 Deed was supplementary to, and in amendment of the 1892 Deed. WRONG.

4. The 1903 Deed was separate and independent of the 1892 Deed.


5 The Bill in Equity of 1919 claimed that the Directors were the directors of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, instead of directors of the Mother Church. WRONG.

6. The directors of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, had nothing to do with the Publishing Society.


7. The Bill in Equity of 1919 claimed that "John V. Dittemore and Annie M. Knott, both claiming to hold the position and office of trustee and director in accordance with the other claimants.? WRONG.

8. The four Directors under the 1892 Deed had nothing to do with the Publishing Society.


B. THE BILL IN EQUITY OF 1920

9. The Directors Bill in Equity, against the Trustees of the Christian Science Publishing Society, claimed that they were the "Christian Science Board of Directors of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Mass." WRONG.

9. They named five directors, when there are only four directors provided for in the 1892 Deed of Trust. And they continue -- claiming that .Edward Ripley, as he is Treasurer of said The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Mass." WRONG.

10. Edward Ripley was the Treasurer of the Mother Church, whereas the First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Mass. had nothing to do with the Publishing Society.
